Complete wheel sets or loose tires?
A complete wheel-and-tire set can be exchanged as an assembly. Loose tires need to be removed from the current rims and the other tires mounted and balanced. These are different jobs, so tell us which setup you have when asking for a quote.
Share the vehicle details and the size of both sets. Wheels, tire sizes, load ratings, and other specifications must suit the vehicle; having a spare set does not automatically mean it is compatible.
Seasonal tire changes at home or work
Plan the visit for a suitable parking space with safe access around the vehicle. Have the replacement set ready and accessible, and let us know about parking restrictions, garage access, or a wheel-lock key.
Discuss the condition of the tires before scheduling, including wear, visible damage, or a history of losing air. A seasonal swap should not put a damaged or unsuitable tire back into service.
Mounting, balancing, and TPMS considerations
Tell us whether the replacement wheels have tire-pressure sensors and whether you have any warning lights or fitment concerns. We confirm what work can be performed and any additional requirements as part of your quote.
If your tires need remounting onto the existing wheels, the visit can include mounting and balancing. If they are already mounted, explain whether you need a wheel-set change only or want a balance issue assessed as well.
What to ask when booking a tire swap
Give the number of wheels or tires, both tire sizes, your location, and whether the job is a planned seasonal change or replacement after damage. Ask about the complete cost and the expected appointment time.
A flat tire that needs your vehicle’s spare fitted is a different service. Use spare-tire installation for urgent wheel changes, or tire replacement if you need a new tire supplied.
